Whether you are snuggled in front of your TV, or taking in an outdoor concert, luxuriate in this cozy and stylish Leo fur wrap.  It will keep you as warm as your dog !   This wrap is triangular with generous 68" wide and 62" long dimensions to the point.  It will gracefully drape across your shoulders or lap or mount as a thematic wall hanging.  

FIRST PRIZE Made of hand painted and hand spun 100% Leo fur yarn, this garment was designed and crocheted by Linda Gagnon, and painted by Jan Parola.

From the artists (Linda Gagnon and Jan Parola) about the process:

"Linda created a digital image of the Leonberger face on her computer. She then stitched a single crochet (tighter stitch) with the colored yarn to create the pattern in the blanket fabric. We found that the soft Leo wool yarn creates a halo effect because of the surface fuzz, like cashmere or angora, which diffuses and hides the image of the dog face. I trimmed the fuzz, found the face detail, and painted over the stitches to highlight the original pattern from Linda's stiching - with some detail added. It took hours because the paint would not absorb into the fabric due to there being lots of lanolin in the natural Leonberger dog fur yarn.

Taa dahh! This is the beautiful result!!"
